VŠE library operation – Winter Semester 2021/2022
From September 20, 2021 the library returns to its normal opening hours:
- Žižkov: Mon 9-19, Tue-Thu 8-19, Fri 8-18;
- Jižní Město: Mon, Wed, Thu 10:30-18:30, Tue, Fri 8:30-16:30.
Order books at https://katalog.vse.cz/?lng=en, they will be available for collection at the loan desk in Žižkov or Jižní Město, depending on where you order the book from, see the first column in the picture. Wait for an email to inform you that the books are ready for you before you pick them up.
Jižní Město Library was opened in new premises last year, but unfortunately only for a short time. You will now have the opportunity to visit them.
Bibliobox is still available for returning books, now also in Jižní Město Library.
Do not forget to return or extend the borrowed books in time. From September 21, 2021, the fines for overdue return of books will be charged. Automatic extension will not be set during normal operation.
Short-term loans from the study room can still be ordered online, and you can borrow them for 1 month until the end of September. From October 1, 2021, their loan period will be reduced to 1 week.
The study room will be open without restrictions, but observe hygienic measures and prescribed distances. Use respiratory protective equipment in the library, including the study room, see Rector’s Measures of September 8, 2021.
