Chris Tame Library


The library is located in the meeting room of the Economic Department.

A reference library, the Chris Tame Library of the Economic Department was created at the VŠE from the legacy of a significant economist Chris Ronald Tame (1949-2006), a British popularizer of the idea of a free market and one of the founders of the Libertarian Alliance, who was a prominent collector of economic and philosophical publications.  A part of his collections was moved to New York after his death and the second part was acquired by the Department of Economics.

The books located at the Chris Tame Library can be ordered or reserved via the Union Catalogue of the UEP. The ordered documents can will be ready for collection within 15 working days at the UEP library of the VŠE in Žižkov, the user will be notified by email.
