Reduction of Friday library opening hours due to heating restrictions in the VŠE buildings

With effect from 3 October 2022, the library opening hours will be shortened on Fridays due to heating restrictions in the VŠE buildings. Current hours of operation will always be posted on the library’s boards and website. This Friday (7 Oct 2022) the Žizkov central library will be open from 9am to 4pm, other Fridays we will arrange to at least lend books and collect them at the designated time (12-2pm) – the old building will only be heated Monday to Thursday. In the Jižní Město library, there will be a reduction in opening hours on Friday afternoons; we will specify specific times depending on the heating situation.
