Library Opening Hours – exam period January/February 2023

Both the Žižkov Library and the Jižní Město Library will be open during the examination period in a limited mode due to heating restrictions.

Study spaces during the building´s heating restrictions

From January 2, 2023, only a limited number of study places will be available in the library’s lending area; the study room will be closed due to heating restrictions. Ordering and picking up books remains unchanged.

There are places that you can use instead of the study rooms:

• Rector’s Lounge of the Academic Club
• Classrooms RB 115 and RB 116
• Room RB 336

Upon request, we will lend books from the study room to an alternate study space, or it will be possible to borrow reference-only books until 10:00 a.m. the next day. Please note that a late fee of CZK 50 per working day is charged for unreturned reference-only books. The library has no obligation to lend books from the reference-only funds and has the right to refuse the loan to the user.
