The possibility of lending books is open from April 20 /Mon-Fri, 10-15/
All VŠE students and employees have from April 20 the possibility to borrow the books from VŠE Library. To visit the Žižkov Library will be allowed only for picking up the ordered literature. The study rooms and Study Library Jižní Město will be still closed.
How to Borrow the Literature
In Library Catalogue you can order
- The books located in Žižkov library stacks
- The short-term books from Žižkov study room
- The books located in Study Library Jižní Město
(these books will be available within one week after the order, in catalogue are marked “Temporarily Žižkov”)
You will be informed by e-mail that the books are prepared for you. Please, read the e-mail to the end to avoid unnecessary travel and misunderstandings.
The books will be lent at the loan desk in Žižkov Library after previous order.
If you want to borrow the books for reference only, please ask in advance the librarian by e-mail at knihovna@vse.cz.
How to Return the Books
The books can be returned only to the Bibliobox, newly situated in the old building entrance hall in Žižkov campus. The returned books must be “quarantined” for at least 72 hours.
Loan Periods, Fines for Overdue Items
The fines unpaid before quarantine time is possible to pay at the loan desk (we prefer credit card payment) or by online payment gateway from „Your Account“ in the Library Catalog. You can also find the deadline for returning the book in Your Account.
Hygienic measures are still valid…
Please respect hygienic and organizational measures and spend only the necessary time in library space.
