History of Czech economic thought collection

The History of Czech economic thought collection is gradually being built from works related to the historical development of Czech economic thought. The books are selected from the CIKS library collections, which, thanks to its historical connection to the National Library of the Czech Republic and the professional background of the Prague University of Economics and Business (VŠE), guarantees the provision of professional information sources in the field of economic sciences for the professional public and the VŠE.

The authors of the works included in this special collection are figures from the scientific and social life of the 19th and 20th centuries, theorists, politicians, educators, and experts in national economic practice. All titles included in this collection can be found in the library’s catalog.

We are making maximum efforts to digitize the most interesting works in our collection.

Digitization is primarily taking place thanks to the VISK7 program: Ministry of Culture grant program called National Programme for the Digitization of Documents Endangered by Acid Paper Degradation – Kramerius.
