Other citation tools

There are numerous tools available for creating in-text citations and entries in a reference list (bibliography). In addition to citation managers:

Online Citation Generators

There are various online citation generators that allow you to input source information and generate a citation in the correct format.

For the Czech environment and ČSN ISO 690, Citace.com works very well (the provider of this site also offers the Citace PRO Free citation manager).

For publications in academic literature, you can use the CiteThisForMe online citation generator, which offers citation styles such as APA, MLA, and Harvard.

Paid Citation Managers

There are also paid citation managers that offer a wide range of features and benefits.

RefWorks not only manages and generates citations but also allows the storage of full texts, sharing citations, and integration with other tools (e.g., it has an extension for Google Docs), as well as offline access. Some users may appreciate the simplicity and intuitive interface of RefWorks, while others may prefer the variety of features and customisability offered by Zotero.

EndNote, in addition to offering the same core features as Zotero, also allows project planning, annotation, and linking to specific cited documents. It also provides Full Text Search, enabling users to search the text content of their imported sources, including the full texts of academic articles and documents.
